Since the pilot program in the Summer of 1997, the University of Florida Department of Chemistry REU program has brought significant research experience to undergraduates from throughout the United States and France. Over the past decade, more than 150 students have worked closely with talented faculty, post-doctoral, and graduate students on salient research in both the chemical and zoological sciences.
